Which TikTok Shop products are also on Amazon (and how to check fast)

A lot of TikTok Shop products are also sold on Amazon, often by the same brand, but not all of them, and the hard part is telling the real listing from a look-alike. The fast way to check a TikTok Shop product on Amazon is to search the brand plus two or three words from the product name, then compare the model number, the pack size and the photos before you trust the match.

That's the by-hand version. Further down is how we do the same check for every video in EverySqueeze, and what to do with the products that turn out not to be on Amazon at all.

Why it matters which listing you pick

If you're reposting TikTok Shop videos to Facebook, YouTube or Pinterest, the TikTok Shop link doesn't come with them. The video needs an Amazon link (or another link of yours) to earn anything off TikTok. Pick the wrong listing and you're sending viewers to a product that isn't the one in your video. Some buy it anyway. More of them notice, and some say so in the comments.

So the goal isn't "something similar on Amazon". It's the same product.

Check one product by hand

  1. Take the brand and the most specific words from the TikTok Shop product name. Skip the filler ("viral", "must have", "2026 new").
  2. Search Amazon with those. If the brand has an Amazon store, start there.
  3. Open the closest listing and compare the details that don't lie: model number, barcode if it's shown, size, count or pack.
  4. Compare photos. Same colours, same packaging, same accessories in the box.
  5. Glance at the price. A price far from the TikTok Shop price is a warning sign that it's a different product or a different pack.
  6. If two or three listings are close, pick the one sold under the same brand name as the TikTok Shop product.

It takes a minute or two per product. Fine for five products. Not fine for a back catalogue of 300 videos.

The look-alike traps

The product sold under a different brand. It's common for the same item to be sold on Amazon under another brand name, often the same product relabelled. Sometimes it really is identical. Sometimes it's a copy. We treat these as "ask first" for that reason.

The right product, wrong pack. The TikTok Shop listing is a 2-pack and the Amazon listing is a single, or the other way round. Close enough that people miss it.

The same listing, a different colour or size. This one is mostly fine. Amazon keeps variations on one listing, and the shopper can switch to the colour or size they want there. You still earn when they buy another version.

The generic product. Some TikTok Shop items (phone stands, storage bins, lint shavers) have dozens of near-identical versions on Amazon from different sellers. If you can't tell which one is yours, it's better to say so than to guess.

How EverySqueeze does this for every video

When you connect TikTok, we match each video to the Amazon product it shows. We compare several signals between your video, its TikTok Shop product and the Amazon listing, and only call a match confident when they agree. A match where the details disagree (a pack size that doesn't line up, a different brand) isn't treated as confident, and one sold under a different brand always waits for your OK. See How product matching works.

The ones we aren't sure of go to Confirm products in the Composer, one question per product, best sellers first. A product you filmed ten times is one question, because one answer covers every video of it. For each, you can press Yes, confirm, No, Pick another (search, or paste the product's Amazon link or ASIN), Not on Amazon, or Skip.

Each question lets you check before you answer, which is the by-hand method from above with the tabs already open. Watch on TikTok opens your video, the TikTok Shop product name opens its TikTok Shop page, and View on Amazon opens the suggested listing in a new tab. Why we suggested it lists what the match is based on: whether the TikTok brand is in the Amazon title, how many product words match, what the photo check said.

Until a product is confirmed or we're sure of it, posts don't get a guessed link without your say. You choose how automatic posts handle that under When we're not sure of the product: wait for you, wait 12 or 24 hours and then use our best match, or use our best match right away. More in Confirm a product to get your Amazon link.

When the product isn't on Amazon

Some TikTok Shop products only sell on TikTok or on the brand's own site. Tell us once and we stop asking: Not on Amazon in Confirm products (or Nothing matches in the Composer). Its posts then go out without an Amazon link. In Confirm products that answer covers every video of the product; Nothing matches in the Composer covers one video, and Library, Products does a whole product from there. See When a product isn't on Amazon.

Or don't post it without a link. If the brand has its own site or an affiliate program, press Not on Amazon? Use your own link and paste it. Your link then goes everywhere a link would go: the Facebook caption, the first comment, Auto DM, YouTube and Pinterest. That works for ShopMy, LTK, Walmart or a brand's own page. See Use your own link.

Can you just search Amazon for the TikTok product name?

You can, and it's where the by-hand method starts. Just don't stop at the first result. TikTok Shop product names are often long strings of keywords, and Amazon's search will happily show you something that matches the keywords and not the product. Check the model number and the photos every time.
