How product matching works

How EverySqueeze matches a TikTok Shop video to the Amazon product it shows.

EverySqueeze matches each TikTok Shop video to the Amazon product it shows, so it can build a working affiliate link and track coverage for it.

What it checks

A match is built from several signals together: the product's size, its listing photo compared against the TikTok Shop photo, price, and a vision check comparing what's actually in the video's cover image against the product photo. A match only reaches the most confident tier when the size, both pictures, the price and the vision check all agree.

Confident vs. likely

Matches that pass every check are treated as confident. A match that's plausible but doesn't clear every bar — for example the vision check can't confirm it, or a picture is missing — is marked likely rather than confident, so a settled match and a good guess never look the same.

When it can't tell

If either the Amazon listing or the TikTok Shop listing has no picture to compare, or the vision check finds a clearly different product, EverySqueeze won't call it a confident match. Those are the videos worth checking yourself with Change the product on a post.
