Confirm a product to get your Amazon link
We add your Amazon link automatically when we're sure of the product (another colour or size of the same listing too). When we aren't, the app asks you.
EverySqueeze matches an Amazon product to each video and adds your link (in the Facebook caption, Auto DM, the YouTube description or a Pin) on its own when it is sure of the match. It is sure when:
- you picked or confirmed the product yourself (that always wins);
- the match is strong: the same product by its name, barcode or model number, a correction you or EverySqueeze made before, or the AI second opinion confirmed it;
- it is the same Amazon listing in a different colour, size or pack. Your link goes to our best guess of the version in your video, and the shopper can switch to another colour or size on the same Amazon listing. You still earn when they buy another version;
- the product photo check says it is the same product;
- you already picked this same product (or listing) on another video.
Everything else asks you first: a weak or uncertain match, one the photo check says is a different product, one whose details (like a pack size) don't agree with the TikTok product, or one sold on Amazon under a different brand than the TikTok product (often the same product relabelled, so it is never removed, but we never link it without your OK). A match that looks like a different kind of product, or whose price is far from the TikTok price, is treated as unsure. A video you marked as not on Amazon never gets a link. A video where you set your own link is never asked either: your link is your decision (see Use your own link).
Matched on the card
In Composer, a product that will get your link on its own says Matched — your link will be added under it. When it is the same listing in another colour or size, it adds Same listing — shopper can switch color/size. If it's the wrong product, use Wrong product or Other matches: your pick always replaces ours. If you have looked and it is the right product, click the small This is right beside it: the card then says ✓ Checked by you (or ✓ Checked by your assistant's name) in green, with the date when you hover, so nobody checks it twice. Undo takes the check back. An assistant can check products too, and it shows in their activity.
When you post or schedule
When you post or schedule to Facebook, Instagram or YouTube and EverySqueeze isn't sure of the product, nothing is sent yet. (YouTube asks only while Add my Amazon link is on in its settings.) A box says This product isn’t confirmed, so no Amazon link and shows the suggestion, with three choices:
- Confirm & post saves the suggestion as your product and posts with your link.
- Pick a different product searches right there, or paste your own Amazon link or ASIN in its box. Choose the right one and it is saved and posted with the link.
- Post without link posts it without one. The app says so afterwards (on the phone the button reads Posted — no link (product not confirmed)), and for Facebook and Instagram the bell reminds you for 3 days so you can add the link on the platform.
Closing the box (or Cancel) sends nothing, and the message says how to go on: post it again and choose Confirm & post, or Post without link.
All platforms (the Post everywhere sheet) asks once, before anything posts (and doesn't ask at all when the match is sure), so Facebook, Instagram and YouTube all go out the same way: with your link after Confirm & post, or all without it after Post without link. If you close the box, nothing is posted and the run's rows show Needs you. With Careful they say Waiting for you to confirm the product, with a Confirm this product to post button that opens the box again for that video and then posts. With Balanced or Always link they say This will post without a link, with Post anyway (posts them without the link) and Pick the product (opens the box). A destination is never marked Failed just because the product isn't confirmed.
Confirm on the card
A product EverySqueeze isn't sure of shows ✓ This is right with Confirm to add your link beside it, under the product tiles. If it is the product in your video, click ✓ This is right: it is saved as your pick and the card says ✓ Confirmed — your link will be added. If it isn't, use Wrong product to paste or search for the right one, or Other matches to see the next few Amazon candidates and switch. When several versions of the product tie (colour, size or pack), that button reads Versions tied: it lists the versions, and clicking the one you filmed (including the one already shown) saves it as your pick, closes the list and confirms it the same way.
Automatic posting
An automatic post whose product EverySqueeze isn't sure of waits; a sure match posts with your link. The next video that will carry your link goes first, and the bell says how many matches are waiting for your OK (and, where we found no match at all, how many videos need you to pick their product). On the Schedule the post reads waiting for you to confirm its Amazon product, with a Confirm product button (Pick product when no match was found) that asks right there, on the computer and the phone. Once you confirm, it goes out on its next turn with the link (a video posted on TikTok less than an hour ago may then still wait for its HD version, up to that hour).
Older videos with no product at all are different: the older-videos drip posts them without a link unless you turn off Include videos without a product (see Older videos per day).
That is the Careful choice of When we’re not sure of the product in Settings → Posting schedule. Balanced (what a new account starts on, and setup says so) posts without the link instead of waiting, and Always link adds our best match anyway; the Composer card on the computer then says Best match — your link will be added. Confirm it if it’s right. See When EverySqueeze asks before it posts.
Confirm products
When EverySqueeze has matches it isn't sure of, Composer on the dashboard shows one short line beside its search and filters, for example 324 matches need your OK · 23 need a product, with a Confirm products button; videos where it found no match at all are the ones that need a product. The small ? beside the line explains it, and follows your choice under When we’re not sure of the product: with Careful those posts wait for your OK, with Balanced they post without a link until you confirm, and with Always link they post with our best match. When nothing needs confirming the line is not there. The count is per product: one answer covers every video of that product, so a product you filmed ten times is one question. Products you have already linked before (your own earlier picks and links) are not asked again. The screen walks through only the matches EverySqueeze wasn't sure about (sure matches already get your link), best sellers first: Yes, confirm, No or Pick another (search, or paste the product's Amazon link or ASIN), and Skip.
Each question says Why we picked it: how sure the match is, and what it is based on, each line marked yes, no or not known: whether the TikTok brand is in the Amazon title, how many product words match, what the photo check said, whether you picked this listing for another video, and whether other creators linked it, plus the latest listing check when there is one (for example that the listing is no longer on Amazon). It shows whether the listing has a Creator Connections campaign (and its commission) whenever the Composer card shows one: the same campaign catalogue check, plus the campaign saved with the pick when it was matched (a catalogue entry with no end date adds not checked for its end date); when only the brand has campaigns, it says the brand has campaigns up to its best rate on other products and that this listing is not verified, and up to three other listings we found for the product, each with its Creator Connections commission when it has one; click one to use it instead. The same block appears in the box that asks before a post. Confirm all appears only for matches that would normally link on their own but were held back, and confirms them at once.
Where to confirm
- When you post: the box that opens (Confirm & post).
- On the video's card in Composer (computer): ✓ This is right, beside Confirm to add your link.
- All at once: Confirm products at the top of Composer (computer).
- A held automatic post: Confirm product on the post in Schedule (computer and phone).
- A failed post: Retry asks in the same box.
A post stopped by this question was not sent, so it is not in the failed list.
