Where your Amazon link goes on Facebook

Choose whether your Amazon link posts in the caption, the first comment, or both.

Settings → Accounts and platforms → Facebook has a section called Where to put your Amazon affiliate links.

Amazon link in the caption

The Amazon link in the caption switch adds your raw Amazon affiliate link (amazon.com with your tracking ID) to the caption. If you're in Facebook's Amazon affiliate partnership, Facebook turns that raw link into a native product link on the video.

Amazon link in the first comment

Below it, when your workspace has this turned on, a second switch adds the link as an automatic first comment instead — first-comment link covers what that comment looks like.

You can turn either one on, both, or neither. The caption link is always a plain amazon.com link with your tracking ID already on it, on purpose, so Facebook can still show its own product card. The first-comment link is a deep link through everysqueeze.com that opens the Amazon app on a phone.

This only controls what EverySqueeze adds automatically. A caption you write yourself in the Composer is never changed to add or remove a link.
