Auto DM
Automatically sends your Amazon link by Messenger to anyone who comments one of your trigger words.
Auto DM lives in Settings → Accounts and platforms → Facebook, under the heading with the same name. If you don't see it there, it isn't available for your account yet.
Auto DM is off until you turn it on
Auto DM starts off. Nothing is sent to anyone until you switch it on yourself. To turn it on:
- Open Settings → Accounts and platforms → Facebook (or press Set up Auto DM on the "New: automatic link replies" notice).
- Find Auto DM and flip its switch on.
- Check the trigger words and the message, then press Save Auto DM.
Saving other changes (your words, the message, the disclosure) never switches it on — only the switch does. You can turn it off again the same way at any time.
When Auto DM is available and Facebook is connected, Home (and Posts in the mobile app) shows a short "New: automatic link replies" notice while it's off. Not now hides it for good, and so does turning Auto DM on.
How it works
You pick trigger words — the three suggested by default are link, shop and info, plus up to a few words of your own. When someone comments one of those words on your Facebook post, EverySqueeze sends them the product link by Messenger automatically — only to the person who asked, never as a bulk send.
You write the greeting and message; a First name chip fills in the commenter's name. Every DM ends with a disclosure you choose: #ad, (paid link), or (I may earn a commission).
If Instagram is connected through its own Instagram login (see the two ways Instagram can connect) and that connection allows comments, comments on your Instagram posts get the same automatic DM, with the same trigger words, message and disclosure — the Instagram card in the Auto DM block says Ready. Through the Facebook Page route, Instagram DMs wait on Meta's approval and the card says so.
What's not live yet
A public comment reply alongside the DM is waiting on Meta's approval — for now only the DM goes out on its own.
Comment reply status
The settings block shows a status chip for whether replying can actually run right now: Ready, Coming soon (waiting on Meta), or a prompt to reconnect Facebook if messaging access is missing.
