Coverage stuck / not filling in
Coverage catches up in the background — here's how to tell a normal pause from a connection you need to fix.
Coverage builds up in the background as EverySqueeze reads your posts and matches them to products. A grid that isn't filling in usually means that background work is paused or still catching up, not that something is broken.
Check these in order
- Look at the message above the grid. While Coverage is still reading your posts it shows a running status — for example that it's checking your Facebook, Instagram or YouTube posts and how many it has checked so far, or that it's reading your library. This is normal and needs no action; leave the tab open or come back later.
- "Catching up on your posts" This covers several internal states and never loses saved progress. A short pause or a deferred image check resumes on its own; comparisons held for review wait until EverySqueeze looks at them, so if it still shows the next day, use Report a problem.
- History is incomplete for a platform. If a note says a platform's history is incomplete, Coverage is still working with the posts it has collected so far for that platform rather than the full picture — it fills in more as the missing history comes in.
- Is a connection actually broken? If a platform shows Reconnect instead of Connect in Settings → Accounts and platforms, Coverage can't read new posts from it until you reconnect. Meta (Facebook/Instagram) access expires roughly every 60 days; see Reconnect a platform and Facebook/Instagram token expiry.
- A cell you expect to see isn't there at all. A dash (–) means the product isn't sold in that marketplace and is deliberately not counted as a gap — that's expected, not stuck. A plus (+) is an open gap you can click to queue yourself rather than wait on it. See Coverage grid symbols.
- The grid is empty and no status message explains why. Check Settings & connections for import status — a library that hasn't started importing yet shows nothing to match against.
Still stuck?
Coverage never drops a saved match while it's paused or catching up — every state above keeps your existing results. If the grid still isn't moving after checking your connections, use Report a problem (in Pip's menu or the Help button) or ask Pip.
