Coverage is still checking your older posts
What it means when Coverage says it's still catching up, and whether anything is lost.
Coverage builds itself in the background by reading your posts and matching them to your videos. While that's still running, or briefly paused, you'll see a status line instead of a full grid.
What you might see
- Reading your posts — it's pulling in your post history; a percentage shows progress.
- Matching your crossposts — it's comparing posts to videos; this shows how many matches it's found so far.
- Catching up on your posts — the background scan is paused, held, or waiting on something (for example an image check it's deferring). A short pause picks back up on its own; comparisons held for review wait for EverySqueeze to look at them — if it lasts past a day, use Report a problem. See Coverage: Catching up on your posts.
Nothing is lost
Whatever the current status, your saved matches and previously found videos are kept. A pause or hold never removes data that's already been matched — it only means the scan hasn't reached everything yet.
If part of your history is incomplete
If a platform's post history couldn't be fully read, Coverage says so and uses whatever it collected so far rather than waiting indefinitely.
If Coverage shows nothing at all
An empty Coverage grid with no status line usually means there's nothing imported yet — check Settings & connections for your import status.
