Reconnect vs Connect

A connection that has gone bad shows Reconnect instead of Connect — reconnecting renews access without losing your saved settings.

Settings → Accounts and platforms shows Reconnect instead of Connect whenever a connection has gone bad — an expired token, or a problem the app can name (like Facebook posting being paused). A healthy connection shows Manage connection instead.

Reconnecting keeps your saved settings on that platform — auto-post choice, daily limits, captions, board routing and the rest stay as you left them. It only renews the access itself.

For Facebook, reconnecting re-runs the same Page picker as first connecting (see Connect Facebook and Instagram): choose Edit settings, then Opt in to current Pages only, and select every Page you post to with EverySqueeze — leaving one out stops posting to it, even a Page you were already using.

If a Page you were posting to doesn't come back on reconnect, Facebook and Instagram posting pauses on purpose rather than silently switching to a different Page. Reconnect again and choose that Page, or pick a Page directly in Settings.
