Reconnect YouTube to allow uploads

YouTube is connected but Google did not give EverySqueeze permission to upload. Reconnect and tick every box on Google's screen.

Reconnect YouTube

Settings → Accounts & platforms shows this when your YouTube channel is connected but Google did not give EverySqueeze permission to upload. The card says "YouTube didn’t give us permission to upload. Reconnect and tick every box." instead of Connected.

It happens when a box was left unticked on Google's permission screen while connecting. EverySqueeze can still read your channel's videos, but nothing can upload to YouTube until you reconnect: Post now to YouTube and scheduled YouTube posts fail.

To fix it:

  1. Choose Reconnect YouTube on the YouTube card in Settings.
  2. Sign in with the Google account that owns your channel.
  3. On Google's permission screen, tick every box, then continue.

The message clears once the new connection has the upload permission. Your YouTube settings (auto-post, daily limit, description template) stay as they were. See Connect YouTube for what each permission is used for.
