The two ways Instagram can connect

Instagram posts through your Facebook Page by default, or through its own Instagram Login connection where offered.

Instagram can reach EverySqueeze two ways.

Through your Facebook Page — the default. Connecting Facebook (see Connect Facebook and Instagram) also connects Instagram, as long as a Professional Instagram account is linked to that Page.

Instagram's own login — where offered, Settings → Accounts and platforms → Instagram shows Connect Instagram only, no Facebook Page needed. This works even without a Facebook Page, as long as the Instagram account is Professional.

Only one door is ever used for posting at a time. If your Facebook Page reaches Instagram, that connection posts and an Instagram-only connection sits on standby: "your posts go through the Facebook Page above." The Instagram-only connection takes over automatically if the Facebook Page stops reaching Instagram.

After connecting Instagram only, you may see a note confirming the account, or that it "stays on standby" because your Facebook Page already reaches Instagram, or that a different Instagram account connected than before.
