Why a queued post is waiting

What each "waiting" reason in your Schedule means — spacing, daily capacity, queue order, a set time, your posting hours, or manual approval.

A post in your Schedule that hasn't gone out yet shows one of these reasons.

Check these in order

  1. Spacing out your posts, at least 45 minutes apart on each platform — EverySqueeze spaces posts on the same platform out, so this one is waiting for that gap.
  2. Today's back-catalog limit is used — goes tomorrow, or waiting for [platform] daily capacity — that platform (or your back-catalog posting) has reached its planned amount for today; this post goes out once more capacity opens, today or tomorrow.
  3. In line behind earlier posts — other posts are queued ahead of this one; it goes out once they've gone.
  4. Held until its set time, or waiting for its planned time inside your posting window — this post has a specific time (or a window) it's waiting to reach.
  5. Waiting for your posting hours (with the hours shown, if set) — this post is ready but your posting window for the day hasn't opened yet.
  6. You approve every post by hand — your posting mode is set to approve everything yourself, so this post waits for you rather than going out automatically.

Still stuck?

If a post has been waiting far longer than its reason explains, use Report a problem (in Pip's menu or the Help button) or ask Pip from the chat button in the corner.
