Facebook is connected, but no Page was shared

No Page was shared, so nothing posts. Reconnect, click Edit settings (not Continue), choose "Opt in to current Pages only", select your Page and Instagram.

Facebook is connected, but no Page was shared (Home, Settings, the Composer, setup and the notifications bell all say this). The card on Home lists the steps below and has a Reconnect Facebook button.

What it means

EverySqueeze posts to Facebook and Instagram through a Facebook Page. Your Facebook login worked, but Facebook didn't share any Page with it, so there is nothing to post to. Instagram is greyed out for the same reason: an Instagram account is reached through the Page it is linked to. The usual cause is Facebook's own screens: if you chose Opt in to all current and future Pages, Facebook can hand back zero Pages, and on a reconnect Continue keeps that same choice. Less often the Instagram account is still personal, isn't linked to a Page, or the Page wasn't selected.

What to do

  1. Reconnect Facebook with the button on the card, or in Accounts & platforms. When Facebook asks Continue as <your name>?, click Edit settings, not Continue (Continue keeps the old choice, which shared no Page). Then choose Opt in to current Pages only (not Opt in to all current and future Pages), select your Page and your Instagram account, and keep them selected.
  2. Still nothing? In the Instagram app, switch to a professional account (Creator or Business): your profile, the menu, Settings and activity, Account type and tools, Switch to professional account. It's free and there is no follower minimum.
  3. Link Instagram to a Facebook Page: in Instagram, Edit profile, Page, then connect your Page (or create one). A Facebook profile on its own isn't enough; it has to be a Page. Then reconnect again as in step 1.

The warning clears by itself once a Page comes through.

Nothing is lost

Nothing already posted is affected. Your TikTok videos stay in your library, and you can post them once the Page is connected.
