Wrong product match

Fix a video matched to the wrong product, or a Coverage cell matched against the wrong post, and undo it if needed.

There are two different kinds of "wrong product" — a video linked to the wrong Amazon item, and a Coverage cell matched against the wrong post entirely. Fix the one you actually have.

Check these in order

  1. Is the video itself linked to the wrong product? Open the video's row and use change product to re-pick it. This works from both the Composer and the Schedule tab.
  2. Is it a Coverage cell showing a "likely" match against the wrong post? That's a different problem — the match itself, not the product. Click the cell (marked ?) and reject it there instead of trying to change the product.
  3. Confirming or rejecting from the grid. Any detected or "likely" mark can be cleared individually from its own cell if it's wrong. A reject is always undoable — the matcher can be overruled at any time.
  4. Working through several at once? Use the Approve inbox — matches the matcher isn't fully sure about collect there so you can confirm or reject them in one pass instead of hunting through the grid.
  5. Why the grid shows a "?" at all. A likely or possible match isn't a confirmed post — it's the matcher flagging something that looks right but isn't fully sure. Until you confirm or reject it, that cell counts as an open gap rather than as posted, so leaving several "?" cells unresolved can make Coverage look emptier than it really is.
  6. Not sure which platform the wrong match is even on? Check the column header on the cell you clicked — each column in Coverage is one platform or marketplace, so the row tells you the video and the column tells you where the bad match landed.

Still stuck?

Neither changing a product nor rejecting a match affects anything already posted — both only change what future posts and future matching use. If a video keeps coming back to the wrong product after you've changed it, use Report a problem (in Pip's menu or the Help button).
