Staying signed in
Using EverySqueeze keeps you signed in. You are only signed out after 30 days without using it on that device, or when you sign out.
Each computer, phone or Home Screen app keeps its own sign-in. While you keep using EverySqueeze there, it stays signed in: each time you come back in the last week of its sign-in, it is pushed out to another 30 days. You are signed out only after 30 days without using it on that device, when you sign out, or when the account owner signs that phone out.
Phones signed in from a computer
A phone you signed in with the QR code or a phone link stays signed in the same way while you use it, for up to 180 days from the day it was added. After that, scan a new code from Get it on your phone. Signing a phone out under Settings → Account and device still works at any time.
Where you land after signing in
On a phone you land in the phone app, on a computer in the dashboard. If you were in the phone app or the dashboard when you were asked to sign in, you go back there instead.
The Home Screen app asks you to sign in
The EverySqueeze icon on your Home Screen has its own sign-in, separate from Safari, and Google and Apple finish in Safari. So inside that app the sign-in screen offers the ways that sign the app itself in:
- Email me a sign-in code, then type the 6-digit code in the app.
- Or, from your computer: Settings → Get it on your phone, scan the QR code with your phone's camera, tap "Copy link for the Home Screen app" on the page that opens, then open the Home Screen app and tap "Paste sign-in link".
Your password works there too, if you have set one.
