Installing the mobile app

Add EverySqueeze to your phone's home screen from the personal sign-in link — no app store.

The mobile app isn't in an app store — it's a web app you add to your phone's home screen using a personal sign-in link. See Phone access for how to get that link onto your phone.

iPhone

Open the link in Safari, then tap Share → "Add to Home Screen". It installs like a regular app icon; open it from there each time.

Android

Open the link in Chrome, then the menu (⋮) → "Add to Home screen".

Why it has to be installed this way

Each sign-in link works once, on the device that opens it — that's what ties the app to your phone without a password. Installing it to your home screen (rather than just bookmarking the page) is also what lets push notifications work, since a plain browser tab can't receive them the same way.

That link is tied to your phone's browser session — if it's cleared (a browser reset, a new phone), make a fresh sign-in link from Phone access and re-add it to your home screen.
