Keep a video from posting automatically

Coverage's "Don’t post this video" keeps one video out of every automatic post; you can still post it yourself, and undo it any time.

Some videos should never go out again, an old one about a product you no longer use, say. You can mark them before they ever reach your schedule.

On the dashboard

  1. Open Coverage. It lists every video in your library; Show more at the bottom loads older ones, and the search box finds one by its caption or product name.
  2. Click Don’t post this video on the video's row (on the line under the product).
  3. The row now says Won’t be posted automatically.

From then on EverySqueeze never schedules that video by itself: not as one of your older videos, not as a new video, and not through Keep my gaps filled, on any platform. Its automatic posts already waiting come off your schedule; a post you scheduled yourself stays. If one was already going out, the row says so: check Schedule.

Posting it yourself still works

The choice only stops automatic posting. You can still post the video from Coverage's + squares, the Composer or the phone app.

Undo

Click Allow posting again on the same row. Automatic posting can pick the video again on its next check. A platform you cancelled for that video on the Schedule stays cancelled.

On the phone

In the phone app, Dismiss this video on a post card makes the same choice. Only the account owner can make it; an assistant sees Won’t be posted automatically on the dashboard but not the button.

If the save does not go through, the row says so and nothing changes: try again in a moment.
