Uploading your own video

Upload a video that never went through TikTok Shop and post it from Composer like any other, tagged as uploaded.

Composer's Upload option lets you post a video that never came from your TikTok Shop account — a brand delivery, or any other clip you have the rights to. Drop videos in or choose files: MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, MKV or AVI, up to 500 MiB each. Keep the tab open until the upload finishes; formats other than MP4 need converting before they can be published, which happens automatically after upload.

Before uploading, choose which platforms the batch is meant for and add an optional note to yourself (what it is, where it came from) — this is stored with the videos so you can find them again later.

Once uploaded, each video gets its own Composer card, exactly like a TikTok video: pick or set the Amazon product by hand (there's no TikTok product to auto-match from), write a caption, and post now or schedule to each platform. An uploaded video keeps a small marker showing it was uploaded by you, both in Composer and on the calendar, and stays in your Library if you later hide it from Composer.
