Setting up Pinterest boards

Route product categories to boards, set a fallback board, and turn on automatic posting once you save.

Once Pinterest is connected, Settings → Accounts and platforms → Pinterest shows Automatic board routing: which board each product category's pins go to.

Each row pairs a board with one or more product categories. You can name a new board or pick an existing one from your account, and add more boards for categories that don't have one yet. A Fallback board catches any product that doesn't match a category you've routed — set its name or pick an existing board too.

Nothing is created on Pinterest until you press Create boards & save. New boards are created there at that point; picking an existing board doesn't create anything.

The Enable automatic posting when saving this board setup checkbox turns on Pinterest auto-posting as part of the same save. Leave it off to post to these boards manually instead.

An Automatic board selection summary shows whether it's on or off once saved, along with how many boards are configured. A "Boards on your Pinterest account" list shows every board in your account for reference — a board only affects automatic posting when it appears in the routing above.

To change routing later, use Edit routing on the saved summary. See Connect Pinterest if Pinterest isn't connected yet.
