TikTok says “invalid authorization” after scanning the QR code

TikTok refused the QR code sign-in. Log in with your phone number or email instead of the QR code, or connect from your phone.

TikTok didn't accept the QR code (shown when TikTok sends you back with “invalid authorization” while you connect TikTok Shop).

What it means

On a computer, TikTok's sign-in page can show a QR code to scan with the TikTok app. “Invalid authorization” comes from TikTok, not from EverySqueeze. It usually means one of two things:

Nothing was connected or changed.

What to do

  1. Start the connection again and don't use the QR code. On TikTok's sign-in page, choose to log in with your phone number or email (and password or code) instead of scanning.
  2. Or connect on your phone. Open EverySqueeze on the phone that has TikTok and start Connect TikTok there: TikTok opens the app directly, with no QR code.
  3. Use the account you sell with. It has to be the TikTok account that is a TikTok Shop affiliate creator. If the TikTok app is logged in to a different account, switch accounts first.

If it still fails, use Report a problem in Pip's menu and say which way you tried.

Open it in EverySqueeze

Signed in, this article opens in the app’s Help center, with a button straight to TikTok sources.
