Missing Amazon tracking ID

Symptoms of a missing or wrong tracking ID, how to set it, and why links made earlier don't pick it up automatically.

If your Amazon tracking ID isn't set, or the wrong one is saved, links still post — they just don't earn you anything. Here's how to spot it and fix it.

Check these in order

1. Open Settings → Amazon and check what's saved. If nothing is set, links EverySqueeze builds have no tracking ID on them at all.
2. Confirm it's a Store ID, not an Influencer ID. Your Store ID is the one EverySqueeze wants — it sits in the top-right corner of affiliate-program.amazon.com when you're signed in, and looks like yourname-20. Your Influencer ID starts with ONAMZ and belongs to a different program (the Amazon Live / Storefront side); pasting that one in by mistake is the most common setup error and it will not tag your links correctly.
3. Set or correct it in Settings → Amazon.
4. If links still look untagged after saving, the fix depends on timing: a link needs to be built (or a video cross-posted) after you saved the id — links made before that point don't retroactively pick it up. Rebuild the link, or cross-post the video again, to pick up the new id.
5. Check Amazon's own requirement. Amazon Associates also requires you to list every social profile you post affiliate links on, under Associates → Account Settings → Websites and Mobile Apps. A missing listing there is an Amazon-side issue, not something EverySqueeze can fix from its end.

Nothing is lost by a missing or wrong tracking ID — the posts themselves went out fine, only the credit was missing. Once you fix the id and rebuild affected links, new links carry it correctly. If untagged links persist after rebuilding, use Report a problem (in Pip's menu or the Help button).
