Chrome extension not connected

The extension has no login of its own — it reads your everysqueeze.com sign-in from the same Chrome profile. Check the domain, the profile, and the install.

The EverySqueeze Chrome extension has no login of its own. It uses the sign-in you already have in Chrome: while you're signed in at everysqueeze.com in the same Chrome profile, the extension works for that account. There's no code to copy and no password to type in the extension itself.

Check these in order

  1. Sign in at everysqueeze.com, not www. This is the single most common cause. Signing in on www.everysqueeze.com sets a cookie the extension can't see, and the popup will say Not connected even though you're signed in. Open everysqueeze.com (without www) and sign in there.
  2. Same Chrome profile. The extension reads the sign-in from whichever Chrome profile it's running in. If you're signed in to EverySqueeze in a different Chrome profile (or a different browser) than the one the extension is installed in, it won't see it. Sign in and install the extension in the same profile.
  3. Click the extension icon and check what it says. It should say Connected to everysqueeze.com. If it says Not connected, go back to step 1: sign in at everysqueeze.com and open the extension again.
  4. If you signed out, or switched EverySqueeze accounts, the extension follows automatically — sign back in (or into the right account) at everysqueeze.com and reopen the extension.
  5. If it's still not connected after that, reinstall or update it. If you installed from the Chrome Web Store, Chrome keeps it up to date on its own. If you installed the unzipped version by hand, download the current version, unzip it fresh, and reload it at chrome://extensions (choose Load unpacked and pick the folder again).
  6. Pinned, but nothing happens when clicked? Confirm it's actually pinned (the puzzle piece in Chrome's toolbar) rather than hidden in the extensions menu — it needs to be visible and clickable to check its status at all.

Your Amazon sign-in is unrelated to any of this: it stays in Amazon's own tab, and the extension never sees your Amazon password.

Still stuck?

None of these checks affect your saved posting setup — reconnecting the extension only restores what it can read, it doesn't change anything already scheduled or posted. If the extension still shows Not connected after checking the domain, profile and install, use Report a problem (in Pip's menu or the Help button).

Open it in EverySqueeze

Signed in, this article opens in the app’s Help center, with a button straight to Chrome extension.
