Possible re-uploads (Reuse or Post again)
Why a new TikTok can wait in Needs attention as a possible re-upload, what counts as one, and what Reuse and Post again do.
When you delete a TikTok and post it again, EverySqueeze should not cross-post the same video a second time. So before a new TikTok is scheduled, EverySqueeze checks whether it is an earlier video posted again. If it looks like one, nothing is scheduled for it until you choose, and it waits on the Schedule tab under "Needs attention" as possible re-uploads. On the phone app the Needs attention bar counts them; tap Review.
What counts as a re-upload
The two videos must be about the same thing (the same tagged product, or the same real caption — a caption made only of hashtags does not count), posted within 7 days of each other, and there must be real evidence:
- the earlier video was deleted from TikTok and the two are the same length (within 1 second), or
- the two cover images match.
If the cover images cannot be compared, the same caption at the same length is enough to ask. A new video of a product you posted before, with a different cover, is not a re-upload: it is scheduled like any other new video.
Your two answers
Each row shows the new video and the original side by side, with why it was flagged.
- "Reuse": keeps the original's posts and moves its scheduled posts to the new video, then schedules only the platforms the new video still lacks.
- "Post again": schedules the new video as a fresh post on its platforms.
Nothing is deleted either way. If you do not answer and the original is gone from TikTok, EverySqueeze reuses its posts after 24 hours. If the original is still on TikTok, the question keeps waiting for you.
