No Amazon tracking ID saved

Without a saved Amazon tracking ID, EverySqueeze won't post an untagged Amazon link — so the link is left off instead.

What it means

Facebook posts and Pinterest pins only ever carry a Amazon link that's tagged with your tracking ID — an untagged link earns nothing and can look deceptive, so with no tracking ID saved, EverySqueeze leaves the link off entirely rather than post one that doesn't work for you. The post or pin still goes out — just without a link.

YouTube behaves a little differently: if a tracking ID is missing, either no link is added to the description at all, or (depending on your settings) a link is added but won't earn anything until you save a tracking ID.

What to do

  1. Add an Amazon tracking ID under Amazon tracking IDs in Settings.
  2. New posts after that will carry a tagged link on any platform where the setting is enabled.

Nothing is lost

Posts that already went out without a link stay as they are — this doesn't retroactively add links to past posts, only to new ones after you save a tracking ID.
